The contents and information of the website are for the user’s personal, non-commercial use and may not be downloaded, copied, processed, or distributed for commercial use with the sole exception of those contents offered specifically for download and explicitly defined for this purpose. The user may print out parts of the website for personal use.

5. Data protection

This global website is intended for use by Konica Minolta employees only. Some parts of the website may ask that users input personal data (name or nickname, country, photo and written responses). The website link should not be shared with individuals not employed by Konica Minolta.

Konica Minolta (through its wholly owned subsidiary, KMMS) saves and uses the user’s personal data (see preceding paragraph) only for the specific purpose to which the user agreed by accepting these terms and conditions, namely internal branding and motivation.

The site will track user interaction with the contents and will allow users to upload a photo and written submissions to the website.

We reserve the right to delete comments or posts that we deem are abusive, inflammatory or otherwise inappropriate. Any accounts that are not set up using an associated Konica Minolta group email account will also be removed.

Uploaded photos and written responses might be used in internal communications to employees to encourage participation. The best photos and written responses might be communicated to an external audience (in which case the Konica Minolta global marketing team will contact those individuals for prior consent).

The use of the personal data for any other purpose can only be affected when it is legal to do so.

All user data will be kept confidential and may be passed on to Konica Minolta employees or service providers only when it is necessary for the explicit purpose as hereby agreed by the user. The data will not be given to any external third parties unless Konica Minolta is under legal obligation to do so.

Your personal data will be deleted 28 days after the end of the campaign and the close of the site, which is currently planned to happen at the end of September 2024.

Upon request, Konica Minolta will provide the user with information on the personal data collected and stored. Konica Minolta will correct any inaccurate data upon the user’s request. The user may, at any time, revoke its consent to the use and storage of personal data, and Konica Minolta will immediately delete the information upon receiving the revocation. In those cases where Konica Minolta is obliged to store the data for a certain period, the data will be made inaccessible.

Japanese law is applicable for the use of this website and the application of these terms and conditions. In cases where the customer is a merchant or a legal person under public law, or has no fixed court of jurisdiction, the court of jurisdiction shall be Tokyo for all disputes relating to the use of the website or these terms and conditions.
